Canberra is Australia’s capital, and a city you should visit if you are interested in the history of Australia. It is located in the ACT, Australian Capital Territory, roughly 3,5 hours south of Sydney, inland from the country's southeast coast.  It is called the Bush Capital because of its location surrounded by forest, farmland and nature reserves. While you are here you will see kangaroos and many of them. They are roaming the city and parks. We had to sit in our car for a good 15 minutes one night because six kangaroos had decided to occupy a roundabout. They were busy having their dinner and didn’t seem to mind that we had to wait for ours. They seemed oblivious or at least indifferent to our presence so we patiently had to wait until they saw it fit to vacate the road.  Must-sees in Canberra Canberra is the place to explore Parliament House and see democracy in action.
